the waiting I:100 cm x 100 cm ,mixed Media on Linen
Every night she waited. She sat on her red chair naked, except for a
hat, and waited to dance. She lived now and here and collected the stories
in the air, those dancing around her hoping to be felt and touched by
her coveting hand.
One can read the stories of her life on her body. She carries much with
her in her age and the layers to her are deep although you can see through
her skin. She resembles the earth and its depths. She is ever changing,
sometimes unpredictable, solid, fluid, tangible and then not.
She decided to taste every apple she could find to feel and experience
so that the serpent could no longer scare her, and so she does. Her fears
leave her most of the time as she dances naked through life showing her
scars, bearing her backbone and feeling alive.
